CONSIDER APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES

TNT Property Maintenance works with OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program) to organize and run a Skills Competition for Landscape Construction each year. Our staff have the opportunity to register as an Apprentice, gain work experience and attend College (the Apprenticeship Program pays for College and travel expenses while our staff collect EI during their College weeks).

Summer/Winter Year-Round Employment

Since 1993, TNT Property Maintenance has been hiring and training Industry Professionals. TNT is based out of Kitchener but work in the tri-cities ( Kitchener, Guelph, Cambridge). We currently have positions available for year-round (or summer) employment.

Positions:

1. Landscape Crew Leader/Horticulturalist
2. Landscape Team Members/Horticulturalist
3. Construction Crew Members (Design/Build: stone, interlock, grading)
4. Plow operator (Must provide abstract)
5. Sidewalk crew members

Skills Reccommended:
  • Completion of paperwork: daily reports, OH&S.

  • Garden maintenance, design and installation.

  • Supervise/Train staff.

  • Ability to operate all equipment in the correct and safe manner.

  • Garden, tree, plant and shrub maintenance.


Education: Preference to those registered or a graduate in Horticultural Technician or Landscape Technician programs.

Own transportation: Required to shop only.

Equipment required: Safety boots and rain gear. Uniform provided.

Other qualifications: Must be physically fit, have a valid ‘G’ license, follow instructions, team player and fluent in English.

Rate of pay: Negotiable, depending on experience.

Hours of work: Summer - Monday to Friday, 10-12 hour days. Winter - our crews are on call 7/24. Must be able to work days/evenings overnight.
