Dethatching
A landcomber is a vertical tine machine designed to remove dead thatch and level off small bumps in turf areas. Lawn rolling compresses the root system in turf areas, often destroying new root growth and creating the need to aerate. After lawncombing, seed can also be applied to thinning turf areas in order to produce a thicker lawn; thus, inhibiting weed growth.
